How it works here
Most dental fear is installed in childhood, usually by an office that treated a scared kid like a scheduling problem. We run the opposite playbook. First visits for little ones are short, silly, and pressure-free: a ride in the chair, a 'tooth counting' game, maybe a polish if they're feeling brave, stickers regardless of performance. Under age 3, that first visit costs you nothing — we want the habit started early more than we want the fee.
For school-age kids, visits are real checkups wearing a fun costume: cleanings with flavors they pick, X-rays when they're actually needed (not by default), sealants to armor the cavity-prone grooves of new molars, and fluoride that takes two minutes and prevents a filling's worth of drama. The ceiling TVs do heavy lifting here — half our young patients are mildly disappointed when the cleaning ends before the episode does.
And when a kid does need a filling, our numb-first, explain-always rule matters most. We tell them what's happening in words that don't scare ('sleepy juice,' 'tooth shower'), we never pin or rush a frightened child, and if a visit needs to end early and resume another day, it does. A kid who trusts the dentist at eight becomes an adult who books their own cleanings at thirty. That's the actual product we're selling.

Kids — what people actually ask
When should my child first see a dentist?
By their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth showing up — whichever comes first. Early visits are less about the teeth and more about making the dentist's office a normal, boring place. Boring is the goal. That's why the under-3 visit is free.
My kid had a bad experience elsewhere and is terrified. Now what?
Tell us when you book — we'll schedule extra time and a 'nothing happens today' visit if needed: they sit in the chair, touch the tools, watch the water sprayer, and leave. Rebuilding trust takes a visit or two of nothing much. It works far more often than parents expect.
Are baby teeth really worth fixing? They fall out anyway.
They're worth it. Baby molars hold space for adult teeth until age 10–12, and an infected baby tooth hurts exactly as much as an infected adult one. That said, we don't over-treat: some small cavities in nearly-done baby teeth are best watched, and we'll tell you when that's the case.
